Carbon Offset Credits are a non-transferable deliverable defined as such: 100 (One-hundred) Kilogram Carbon Offset Credit is equivalent to ~220.4 lb of CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) removed from the environment and stored sustainably within trees or other flora planted as a result of Roarke Land Management reforestation or maintenance efforts. Roarke Land Management and Tastemaker accept that with standardization of credits, environmental fluctuations may occur that result in deficits to delivery. Deficits are factored into the current calculation, with actual CO2 removal being >20% more than advertised according to present calculations.
Carbon Offset Credits are non-transferable, with Tastemaker only recognizing the name or entity as submitted, spelled (case-sensitively) or otherwise denoted during the purchasing process and mirrored on the subsequent receipt and confirmation processed by Tastemaker. Purchasers may purchase Carbon Offset Credits in the name of other individuals or entities, but will be themselves responsible for notifying the named party or parties as well as liability any associated consequences or benefits of purchasing Carbon Offset Credits for a party or parties other than themselves, including entities they might not fully comprise but still officially or unofficially represent in some capacity.
Carbon Offset Credits may not be tax-deductible depending on your use case or tax-collecting governing body. Purchasers of any kind, but particularly those looking to buy for the express purpose of tax-deduction are encouraged to do their own research as to their local tax laws and potential deductions. The purchaser recognizes and accepts that Roarke Land Management and Tastemaker are not liable for any part of the success or failure of any tax-deduction process.
Carbon Offset Credits purchased publicly may not have their information disclosed by Tastemaker or Roarke Land Management for any internal reason with no explanation. There is no obligation by Tastemaker or Roarke Land Management to recognize the time, size, price, purchaser, named recipient or any other data relating to a purchase of Carbon Offset Credits in any public forum. Similarly, Carbon Offset Credits purchased publicly may have any details regarding them disclosed in any public setting, including those benefiting the image, market share or other financial aspect of Tastemaker or Roarke Land Management.
Carbon Offset Credits purchased privately will have their size, price and date of purchase disclosed in any forum or calculation without purchaser information as chosen by Roarke Land Management or Tastemaker. No purchaser data or information will ever be disclosed to any entity without the legal jurisdiction to request disclosures or documentation of that nature.
If you are purchasing Carbon Offset Credits for a recipient other than yourself, the purchase may not include any information that violates privacy, legal restrictions or otherwise endangers the recipient. You may not purchase publicly Carbon Offset Credits for another individual whose age is under 18 years. You may not include information like addresses, identification numbers or other sensitive information. Purchases may be voided or amended at the discretion of Tastemaker or Roarke Land Management if the information is believed to be in violation of these terms and conditions. This may include erasure of any part of the publicly disclosed details.
If you are purchasing Carbon Offset Credits under a name other than one directly representative of yourself or an entity you represent in an official capacity, you may not include information that is damaging to the public image or character of anyone including yourself as an individual. Hateful, offensive or damaging language included in the form, as defined by Tastemaker or Roarke Land Management, may result in erasure or amendment of the publicly available information with or without cancellation of sale.
Failure to read terms and conditions may result in purchase dissatisfaction and waiving of rights to compensation or recompensation in any form.
Entering the Purchaser’s name as depicted on the purchase form is equivalent to a handwritten signature.
